You know what inspired it: the moment in Season 1, Episode Seven where Jesus invites Matthew to follow him. It’s a jarring invitation – different from any other before it. But, as Jesus says to Simon, “get used to different.”
Jesus’ words are in bold print at the top. Near the bottom are the fish from the iconic opening of The Chosen, and do you see the snippets of dialogue lifted from the episode itself? Punctuating it all is a globe, offering a subtle message that Jesus’ “different” was being made available to the entire world.
